Proverbs 24:11-12 (NLT)
Rescue those who are unjustly sentenced to die; save them as they stagger to their death. Don’t excuse yourself by saying, “Look, we didn’t know.” For God understands all hearts, and he sees you. He who guards your soul knows you knew. He will repay all people as their actions deserve.

If you know someone who is staggering through life, who sees everything dark and negative, and perhaps even wants to die because he thinks there is no hope, God says you are the one to help him. Don’t let an excuse keep you from rescuing him because Christ in you IS the Hope of Glory. You can lift him out of his bitterness!
Encourage him to declare that with God there is always a way out, and then help him find it. The Lord “repays” according to our deeds.
Pray this way: Father God, teach me to see with Your eyes those who believe that all is lost, and that walk about torn apart by life. Give me the right words and actions to lift them up and bless them. I ask You in the name of Jesus, Amen!
