Ephesians 4:21-24 (NLT)
Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him, throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.

Your mind is extraordinary––faster and more powerful than a state-of-the-art computer.
But if you allow a “evil spiritual virus” to enter, everything good inside gets infected.
The Holy Spirit of God is the “antivirus” that your heart needs to get everything bad out. He will give you a vocabulary of faith, wash away your bad habits and revitalize you to achieve all the good God has prepared for you. And on top of that, He will empower you to help others do the same!
You may want to pray something like this: Father God, today I let Your Word wash over my heart to cleanse me of my old nature and way of doing things. I ask Your forgiveness, for my sins. Holy Spirit, would you come now to renew my thoughts and attitudes and give me a new nature that looks like Jesus. In His name I pray, Amen!
