Your Strong Tower

Your Strong Tower

Isaiah 25:4 (NLT)

But you are a tower of refuge to the poor, O Lord, a tower of refuge to the needy in distress. You are a refuge from the storm and a shelter from the heat. For the oppressive acts of ruthless people are like a storm beating against a wall.

When you find yourself facing a storm, when there is anguish over an unfavorable diagnosis from your doctor, when others are oppressing you and you feel body-slammed to the floor; when debts and unemployment come knocking at your door; when you can’t lift even your head because of your depression, remember this Word. Etch it on your heart: in God you can take refuge. In Him you can find strength. With Him you can get up to fight again until you are victorious.

Pray like this: Father God, I run to you as my Strong Tower and take refuge. I receive the strength that You promise. I now rise in the Name of Jesus to face my storm with new faith. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
