You Are Waiting Because He Is Working

You Are Waiting Because He Is Working

Lamentations 3:25-26 (NLT)

The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord.

Just as a farmer patiently waits for the fruit of his sowing or a worker trusts that at the end of the month he will receive his just salary, so also should you quietly wait for the fruit of the requests you have planted before the Lord, believing and not doubting. He always responds in His time to those who choose to lean on and lean into Him. That is why you must never give up on your dreams and desires. Do not abandon the cause. Do not stop praying. Do not tire of waiting on Him. Instead, praise and worship Him. You are waiting because He is working.

You may want to pray something like this: Father God, I recognize that I have been impatient and have doubted You, thinking that You have not heard my prayer. I know that is not true. Today I choose to make use of my waiting time to praise and worship You, fully trusting that You will answer me in Your time, right on time. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
