Matthew 5:14-16 (NLT)
“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

God is telling you today that your life is very valuable, that you were created to shine, to be light, to do great works. But mistakes, bad decisions, lack of knowledge or financial resources make you think you are destined to failure, and so you hide your light under a bushel.
No! We were created in the image of God Himself! That is why the title, “Light of the World,” is not too big. Ask God to make the best in you come to light from within, to enlighten all those around you every day.
Pray like this: Father God, I accept Your Word that I am on earth to light the path and lives others should take. I leave my past behind and ask You to teach me how to do good deeds that bless the lives of others. I ask You in the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
