Proverbs 3:13-17 (NLT)
Joyful is the person who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding. For wisdom is more profitable than silver, and her wages are better than gold. Wisdom is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. She offers you long life in her right hand, and riches and honor in her left. She will guide you down delightful paths; all her ways are satisfying.

Getting things done and having joy while you are getting things done are two different things. How often are you so consumed by busy-ness and problem-solving that you collapse at day’s end weary and worried instead of joyful and jazzed? It is likely because you neglected to ask God to give you the wisdom you needed.
Nothing can be compared with the wisdom that God can give you, because He will always guide you onto the best path, you will feel peace and happiness for knowing how to do the right thing the right way and you will walk with such security that you will find others seeking your advice.
God’s wisdom sees a problem before it becomes a problem and finds a solution. It makes every day joy-full, and that is why you must make it a priority every day to seek, receive and incorporate the Word of God and the wisdom of God.
You may want to pray something like this: Father God, I come seeking You and Your wisdom at the beginning of my day today. With Your Word as my foundation, I ask that You guide me into paths of righteousness today, give me the eyes of Your wisdom to see and fix pitfalls and potholes ahead of time and make me a blessing to others. I ask it in the Name of Jesus, Amen!
