Wisdom for Leading

Wisdom for Leading

1 Kings 3:7-9 (NLT)

“Now, O Lord my God, you have made me king instead of my father, David, but I am like a little child who doesn’t know his way around. And here I am in the midst of your own chosen people, a nation so great and numerous they cannot be counted! Give me an understanding heart so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between right and wrong. For who by himself is able to govern this great people of yours?”

Every person who is in a place of authority over others should understand that God has put him or her in that place for the blessing of others.

Solomon had been prepared since childhood to reign over Israel, but when it was time to do ascend to the throne, he recognized that he needed wisdom from heaven to know how to lead his people on earth.

It is the same in your life, your family, your work or business. The presence of God is what guarantees you success in all your ways.

Pray like this: Father God, I recognize that I need your wisdom every day for every decision I have to make. Illuminate my steps so I can lead a successful life and bless others. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
