Winning When You’re Outnumbered

Winning When You’re Outnumbered

2 Chronicles 14:9-12 [NLT)

Once an Ethiopian named Zerah attacked Judah with an army of 1,000,000 men and 300 chariots. They advanced to the town of Mareshah, so Asa deployed his armies for battle in the valley north of Mareshah. Then Asa cried out to the Lord his God, “O Lord, no one but you can help the powerless against the mighty! Help us, O Lord our God, for we trust in you alone. It is in your name that we have come against this vast horde. O Lord, you are our God; do not let mere men prevail against you!” So the Lord defeated the Ethiopians in the presence of Asa and the army of Judah, and the enemy fled.

This passage highlights the importance of always trusting in God, never giving up, no matter how much a problem exceeds your capacity––or even science’s ability––to solve it.

Trust in God completely, humbly ask for His help, face every battle with faith in Jesus’ Name, and God will fight for you.

Pray like this: Father God, I begin this day holding on to Your hand, asking for Your help knowing that nothing is too difficult for You. Because You are with me and I am not alone, I rise up with renewed faith to face my challenges in the Almighty Name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
