Why?

Why?

John 9:1-3 (NLT)

As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. “Rabbi,” his disciples asked him, “why was this man born blind? Was it because of his own sins or his parents’ sins?”

“It was not because of his sins or his parents’ sins,” Jesus answered. “This happened so the power of God could be seen in him.”

Without God in the picture, there is often no answer as to “why” many things happen the way they do. But what we can be sure of is that God has the power to change whatever your difficulty you’re in.

Sometimes it is hard to keep on believing, especially when there has been too much month left at the end of the money for too long, or when illness lingers on and on, or when family issues drift on, unresolved, or when dreams seem illusive and unattainable. Have faith! Just as it was with the blind man, God says to you, “This is happening so the power of God can be seen.”

Pray like this: Father, I renew my faith in you today that you will make my dark days end. Show your power in my life and increase my faith to believe that you will do it. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
