Jeremiah 17:7-8. (NLT)
“But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.

We find ourselves in challenging economic times. Jobs have been lost. Business owners feel worried. Relationships can be strained.
If that is you, God says if you will believe Him and keep on trusting, rather than being “buried” by your circumstances, you will become rooted next to a “river” that will never run dry. You will be healthy like the lush green follage and you will continuously bear fruit in every area of your life.
Let your roots sink deep into the banks of the River of God. Put your hope in Him now! Abide in Him. You will be be provided for, and have provision to share!
You may want to pray this this prayer:
Father God, I am going through difficult times, but I desire to cast my roots next to Your river of life, so that I do not succumb to the heat and the drought around me. I stand on Your promises today and every day so that my roots will go deep and my life will produce blessings in abundance. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
