2 Kings 6:24-25 (NLT)
Some time later, however, King Ben-hadad of Aram mustered his entire army and besieged Samaria. As a result, there was a great famine in the city. The siege lasted so long that a donkey’s head sold for eighty pieces of silver, and a cup of dove’s dung sold for five pieces of silver.

An army had surrounded the city. Whoever went out was imprisoned and whoever stayed inside was starving. There was no way to solve the problem humanly speaking. It was a complete impasse. On that occasion, God miraculously liberated that city.
In todays increasingly turbulent world governments are disoriented and in some cases taking incomprehensible measures. Newscasters spend the day opining, but provide no hope. Science is advancing, but its limitations are evident. It’s time to look up and look for Jesus.
Pray like this: Lord, I feel “besieged.” Methods of man come with no guarantees they will work. So, with no more time to waste, I come seeking Your guidance and help. Would You move Your hand to make a way where there is no way? I ask this in the Name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
