When Fear Becomes Faith

When Fear Becomes Faith

Psalm 34:6-10 (NLT)

In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles. For the angel of the Lord is a guard; he surrounds and defends all who fear him. Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! Fear the Lord, you his godly people, for those who fear him will have all they need. Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing.

In this Psalm, the word “fear” is mentioned several times. In this case, it does not mean to be afraid, but to have respect, reverence, and faith in God. If you “fear” this way, you will not be without His presence when you face problems and difficulties. He will save you and protect you, and you will have every good thing you need.

Pray this way: Lord, thank You for Your care and protection. I receive this promise today. I trust in You, that You are listening to me now and even as I speak, You are working to save me from all difficulties. I put myself in Your hands, believing in Your intervention so that I do not miss any good thing You have for me. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
