When All Comes To A Screeching Halt

When All Comes To A Screeching Halt

Ecclesiastes 9:11 (NLT)

I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don’t always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time.

The world was running fast and furious. There was no time for the important things in life. And suddenly everything everything came to a screeching halt, and now we don’t know what to do during the day.

Today presents you with a beautiful opportunity to feed your spirit, to read God’s Word and listen to what He has to say––to prepare yourself, and you can once again find work, earn wages, make wealth and be blessed to be a blessing.

Get alone several times a day and pray this way:
Father God, thank You for this opportunity to be alone with You. I want to take advantage of this time to hear Your voice, to understand Your Word and follow in the path You have laid out for me. I long to know Your purposes for my life so that I can do Your will. Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
