What Your City Needs

What Your City Needs

Proverbs 11:10-11 (NLT)

The whole city celebrates when the godly succeed;
they shout for joy when the wicked die.

Upright citizens are good for a city and make it prosper,
but the talk of the wicked tears it apart.

This Word from God today declares how far the reach is when godly people prosper: the whole city benefits and rejoices! It also sends a warning about the destructiveness of untruthful, lying words. Even if it means going against the current, make the decision to be a just person, someone who is upright in everything, renouncing every kind of perverseness. Your city needs that kind of people. Pray this way: Father God, thank You for Your advice. I confess that I have drifted and even been carried away by the currents of the world around me. But today, as I read Your word, I renounce every sin and choose to be a person of integrity, so that my house will be blessed, and my entire city will have a reason to celebrate. In the name of Jesus, Amen! Have a blessed day!
