We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.

A spiritual stronghold is a lie that your mind perceives as truth and results in totally conditioning your behavior to be contrary to the will of God.
Rather than surrendering your life to the lies of this world, you can fight each day’s problems and challenges off with the weaponry God gives you––His presence, His power and His Word, which is the truth that sets you free. These daily nuggets from the Scriptures that you are reading are prepared to help you with that very thing––to put in your hands, in your mind and on your lips powerful weapons with which to have victory in every battle you face.
You may want to pray something like this: Father God, I thank You for Your Word that sets me free. I renounce all the lies and negative thoughts that are warring in my mind. Instead, I take up these spiritual weapons from Your Word to tackle each problem that comes my way, because Your counsel and Your presence bring power and life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
