Proverbs 13:20 (NLT)
Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.

While we all recognize the truth in this old proverb, few apply it.
Select your friends––those with whom you spend time, or invite into your home, or associate with or make an alliance with.
Try to influence your friends, but be careful of foolish people who do not want to change, who not only do not do well but drag those who join them to evil.
Pray like this: Father God, I recognize that I have not always selected my friends well, and they in the end they have influenced my life in a negative way. I realize that my future is at stake, and so I ask You to help me develop relationships with those who will enrich my life and allow me to bless them. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
