Uprooting Bitter Roots

Uprooting Bitter Roots

Hebrews 12:15 (NLT)

Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.

We all go through situations that sour our day, and unfortunately many of us allow that bitterness to sink roots into the heart.

If the root is bitter, it will upset and ruin your life, and poison the lives of others. A bitter root will always produce bitter fruit: envy, jealousy, fights, betrayal.

Today, you need to pluck out that root and sow seeds of heaven it its place so that your life produces the fruit of peace and blessing.

Pray like this: Father God, I don’t want any kind of bitterness to remain in my life. I pluck from my heart and from my thoughts every bitter root and in their place I plant seeds of love, peace and blessing that come from You. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
