I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken.

What an extraordinary declaration of trust!
When you ask God for something, you should then wait for it expectantly in the manner the Psalmist describes— believing without doubt and declaring with full faith in the Lord that it will come to pass.
So renew your mind today. Renounce all the negativity and despair. Even though the commentary swirling about you is nothing but discouraging and defeating, set your mind on the fact that God wants to give you the victory and lift you to good success. Yes, He is your victory; He is your mighty fortress. In Him, you are unshakeable!
You may want to pray something like this: Father God, thank You for Your wonderful promise here. I realize that I have a tendency to always be expecting the unpleasant. But now I am taking Your Word at face value and am surrendering every negative thought in order to set my mind on everything good that You have prepared for my life. I declare that You make me unshakeable, in the name of Jesus, Amen!
