Psalm 127:1-2 (NLT)
Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good. It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones.

King Solomon ruled Israel in peace and prosperity for 40 years and declared that it was God Who made it possible.
Today we expect the government to solve the problems in our homes, in our cities and across our nations, but that blessing comes only when the Lord Himself is allowed to build the house.
Pray like this: Father God, I don’t want to work during these times in vain. So I ask for You to build my home. In the same way, I pray for my government, that the eyes of its rulers be open and recognize that they need Your help to chart the future of our land wisely. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
