Unfinished Business

Unfinished Business

2 Chronicles 14:6-7 (NLT)

During those peaceful years, he was able to build up the fortified towns throughout Judah. No one tried to make war against him at this time, for the Lord was giving him rest from his enemies. Asa told the people of Judah, “Let us build towns and fortify them with walls, towers, gates, and bars. The land is still ours because we sought the Lord our God, and he has given us peace on every side.” So they went ahead with these projects and brought them to completion.

Many times, projects and dreams are left unfinished, or half done, often due to lack of peace. The absence of God’s presence brings instability.

In this passage, Judah’s King Asa recognized that he could build, proceed with his projects, and bring them all to completion because they had sought God, and that brought peace to all his territory.

Maybe you are realizing that your life is on hold, your projects unfinished and your dreams forgotten. Seek God every day. At all times talk to Him. Peace, security and provision will come to your aid. Favor will be showered upon you.

Pray this way: Lord, thank You for helping me to get back on the right path. Forgive my faults and mistakes. I need Your presence in my life to recover peace and blessing I have lost. From this moment forward, I will seek Your presence in all my endeavors. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
