2 Samuel 9:7-9 (NLT)
“Don’t be afraid!” David said. “I intend to show kindness to you because of my promise to your father, Jonathan. I will give you all the property that once belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will eat here with me at the king’s table!” Mephibosheth bowed respectfully and exclaimed, “Who is your servant, that you should show such kindness to a dead dog like me?” Then the king summoned Saul’s servant Ziba and said, “I have given your master’s grandson everything that belonged to Saul and his family.”

King David wanted to show His love and mercy to the son of his friend Jonathan, grandson of King Saul, by giving him all the things that had belonged to his grandfather, even though the young man did not feel worthy to receive them and referred to himself “a dead dog.”
God is like that. Even though you, too, feel unworthy and it’s hard for you to accept it, God in His mercy wants to honor you by blessing every area of your life—your body, your family, your finances, your dreams and even the inheritance of precious things you had no expectation of receiving.
Pray this way: Father God, thank You for Your mercy and Your love. From this moment I humble myself to accept and receive all the promised blessings You give to honor Your children. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed Day!
