1 Chronicles 11:4-5 (NLT)
Then David and all Israel went to Jerusalem (or Jebus, as it used to be called), where the Jebusites, the original inhabitants of the land, were living. The people of Jebus taunted David, saying, “You’ll never get in here!” But David captured the fortress of Zion, which is now called the City of David.

“You will never enter here!” or “You will never accomplish that!” ––they are phrases you have heard from family, friends, and rivals, sometimes in a mocking tone and at other times dressed in the guise of good advice.
These taunting words stick in your thoughts and begin to condition your plans and goals that you have had in your heart.
Do like David did. Keep moving ahead. Reject negative words. Go to God. Seek His counsel. Receive His strength. And what today looks like an impregnable fortress, tomorrow will be your trophy.
Pray like this: Lord, I ask You to give me strength and strategy to achieve my dreams. I close my ears to negative voices to hear only Your words of counsel to me. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!!
