James 3:17-18 (NLT)
But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.

What an extraordinary blessing it is to live in peace! In this passage, James tells us the secret to achieve it is to seek the wisdom that comes from above because that wisdom carries the social antiviruses that are powerful to overcome every confrontational attitude.
– It is eagle-eye pure, not earth-bound judgmental.
– It loves peace and pursues it.
– It leads with gentleness and fosters more gentleness.
– It listens so that being right does not get in the way of being kind.
– It is compassionate toward those who suffer and comes up with something concrete to do for them.
– It doesn’t play favorites; all lives matter.
When you walk in God’s wisdom, you will sow seeds of peace that will reap healing within yourself and produce a legacy of righteousness for your generations.
You may want to pray something like this: Father God, I recognize that by wanting to “be right,” I have neglected being at peace. I come to You today to receive the spiritual wisdom that only You offer so that I can walk completely enveloped in Your peace and reap the legacy You have in store for me. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
