Psalm 23:1-3 (NLT)
The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.

Before becoming the greatest among the kings of Israel, David tended sheep––one of the most vulnerable animals to danger and disease. In moments when he himself suffered the pangs of loneliness and the shadows of danger, he experienced God being a “shepherd” for his life.
God cares for you in the same way. He guides you to places of provision and rest, renews your strength and leads you to live an upright life. Let Jesus be your Shepherd today and every day!
You may want to pray something like this: Lord, I need You to be my Shepherd. If You guide me, I have faith that I will lack nothing. If You are my Guide, my paths will be straight and secure. If You walk with me, my strength will be renewed. I put myself in Your care, in the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
