The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living. Reverence for the Lord is pure, lasting forever. The laws of the Lord are true; each one is fair.

In this Psalm, King David declares the benefits that come to you when you accept the Word of God as your guide and incorporate it into your life.
Receiving His Word every day revives you, strengthens you, makes you wise, helps you make good decisions, gives you clarity, makes you happy, transforms you.
Read, memorize and apply the Word you receive every day and all these benefits will be part of your life.
Pray like this: Father God, thank You for Your Word and the sound instruction for living it gives me. Help me understand your precepts and apply them every day, not only for my own good, the good of my family and the benefit of all those who are around me. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
