The Lamb of God

The Lamb of God

John 1:29 (NLT)

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”

Ritual Jewish law demanded that the people should kill a lamb in the temple in order to transfer their sin and its consequences upon it. That was the context in which John announced publicly that Jesus was the “lamb” that God was providing to take away the sin of the world once and for all.

Jesus came not only to bring salvation and peace to your life, healing to your body, light to your path and blessing to your household, but to redeem your workplace, the education system and the politics of your city. Yes, He came to take away the sin of the WHOLE world.

Just like John, believe in Jesus and declare it publicly—not only to others with whom you have contact, but also while you are walking down the street. “Your sin has been taken away!” You and all those around you will be blessed.

Pray this way: Father, I thank You for sending Jesus Christ. I believe that He gave His life so that I could have life in abundance. I receive and declare this extraordinary blessing in every place my foot steps. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
