1 Peter 3:9 (NLT)
Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.

This world’s “payback system” is characterized by returning evil for evil and insult for insult. But since you are heir of blessing, God has call you to a lifestyle according to the system of Heaven, which means that in every situation, He will help you find a way to speak peace and blessing over others, even when—and especially when—they have cursed, criticized or insulted you. Discover it and develop it. It will produce a life full of pleasant, even miraculous surprises for them and for you because it will bring the blessing of God.
You may want to pray something like this: Father God, I know You have blessed my life even though I have not deserved it. Therefore I’m going to bless and forgive those do me wrong, even when they don’t deserve it either. I want to live in Your blessing and I want them to know Your blessing. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
