Proverbs 11:24 (NLT)
Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything.

The Word of God says in this 1000-year-old proverb that the way to be more prosperous is to sow more into others the “seeds” that God has already put inside of you.
Sowing always comes before the harvest. What you keep or spend on yourself bears no fruit. A selfish mindset always leads to misery and shame.
You may want to pray something like this: Father God, thank You for this brutally simple but most valuable nugget of counsel. Help me to generously sow what you put in me. Lift me from the pit of selfishness and give me strength to be a blessing rather than just seek a blessing. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
