The God Who Restores

The God Who Restores

Psalm 71:19-21 (NLT)

Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the highest heavens. You have done such wonderful things. Who can compare with you, O God? You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth. You will restore me to even greater honor and comfort me once again.

Whether because of current circumstances, your own bad decisions or being betrayed by someone, you may be suffering hardship, deprivation and despair. But always remember what the Word of God confirms to you today, that God has not forgotten you. In fact, He has His eye upon to restore you and even to take you to a higher level of joy and favor than you were before.

Come near to God with confidence, accept the life He gives, receive His comfort, rise up with new strength and take hold of what He has prepared for you.

You may want to pray something like this: Father God, I thank You for this Word that strengthens and comforts me. I come to You to ask forgiveness for my sins. I turn to You because You alone can lift me out of the depths of my discouragement today. Only You can restore me, and guide me to a higher level of honor so that I can serve You and others in the best way possible. Thank You! I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
