The Extraordinary Power of Blessing

The Extraordinary Power of Blessing

Genesis 47:7-10 (NLT)

Then Joseph brought in his father, Jacob, and presented him to Pharaoh. And Jacob blessed Pharaoh. “How old are you?” Pharaoh asked him. Jacob replied, “I have traveled this earth for 130 hard years. But my life has been short compared to the lives of my ancestors.” Then Jacob blessed Pharaoh again before leaving his court.

This story about Joseph goes on to say that after receiving Jacob’s blessing, Pharaoh assigned to Jacob and his family the best land in Egypt on which to settle, and there they thrived to have extreme abundance in the coming years.

Let your language also be a blessing to all those around you, including your government officials. God always has more blessings planned than you know of.

Pray like this: Father, thank You because every morning You bless my life with Your Word. Now I incline my heart to speak blessings to all those around me, believing that extraordinary prosperity of every kind will manifest itself over my life, my family, my workplace and my nation. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
