The Closet of Rewards

The Closet of Rewards

Matthew 6:6 (NLT)

But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.

There are people who appear to be “religious” but their hearts are far from God. Others are directly indifferent to the spiritual: they do not ask the Lord for anything, believing they are self-sufficient.

Jesus teaches the importance of spending time alone with God, it is there where you can tell the Father about your problems, ask for forgiveness for your shortcomings, receive comfort and healing for your heart, and acknowledge and honor Him as the Lord and Savior of your life.

When you decide to take time each day to spend time alone with Him, your Heavenly Father, who sees everything you see plus everything He sees, will bring His reward to you.

You may want to pray like this: Father God, I am making the decision to spend a moment with You each day.
I humbly acknowledge that I need your help. I ask you in the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
