Exodus 17:11-13 (NLT)
While the people of Israel were still at Rephidim, the warriors of Amalek attacked them. Moses commanded Joshua, “Choose some men to go out and fight the army of Amalek for us. Tomorrow, I will stand at the top of the hill, holding the staff of God in my hand.” As long as Moses held up the staff in his hand, the Israelites had the advantage. But whenever he dropped his hand, the Amalekites gained the advantage. Moses’ arms soon became so tired he could no longer hold them up. So Aaron and Hur found a stone for him to sit on. Then they stood on each side of Moses, holding up his hands. So his hands held steady until sunset. As a result, Joshua overwhelmed the army of Amalek in battle.

Moses knew the secret for being victorious in the battles fought on earth was to also fight them in the heavenly realms. That is why while Joshua led the troops on the ground, Moses was on the mountain with His hands toward Heaven.
In these days, you will need to not only fight with your strength, but also seek the strength that comes from the Lord. You, too, will need to persevere like Moses did, to the point of seeking others to persevere with you in seeking the Lord’s help. Be persistent, and know that no matter how great your battles are, God will give you victory.
You may want to pray something like this: Father God, as I pray, I raise my hands toward the heavens recognizing my need for Your help, Your strength and Your wisdom for today and every day so that I and my household can be victorious in all of our battles and challenges we are facing here on earth. Thank You that in You, we are more than overcomers. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
