Matthew 8:23-26 (NLT)
Then Jesus got into the boat and started across the lake with his disciples. Suddenly, a fierce storm struck the lake, with waves breaking into the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him up, shouting, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” Jesus responded, “Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!” Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm.

“Suddenly” a fierce storm blew in and altered the disciples’ peaceful journey. These men were sailing pros, but this storm was so violent that they feared for their own lives and were left with no other option but to run to Jesus for help.
“Suddenly”, in the blink of an eye, a virus assaulted the whole planet, shuttering entire nations, shaking the world economy.
In times of storm we need to imitate the disciples. Reach out to Jesus who is in the midst of our storm. He can help you. Put your faith in Him. He can calm the storm!
Pray like this: Lord Jesus, I believe that if I call on You, You will answer and come to the rescue. I need You. We need you. You alone are the source of peace and security in the midst of this storm. Calm this sea and save us, Lord! I ask You in Your precious and powerful name, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
