Mark 6:45-53 (NLT)
Immediately after this, Jesus insisted that his disciples get back into the boat and head across the lake to Bethsaida, while he sent the people home….Late that night, the disciples were in their boat in the middle of the lake, and Jesus was alone on land. 48 He saw that they were in serious trouble, rowing hard and struggling against the wind and waves. About three o’clock in the morning[i] Jesus came toward them, walking on the water. He intended to go past them, 49 but when they saw him walking on the water, they cried out in terror, thinking he was a ghost…Then he climbed into the boat, and the wind stopped. They were totally amazed…After they had crossed the lake, they landed at Gennesaret. They brought the boat to shore.

Have you ever embarked on projects, taken on challenges or pursued dreams that God put in your heart, and in the middle of the journey a storm comes up that steals your strength and resources and keeps you from advancing? Know that Jesus is not far away and sees your trouble. In fact, the stormy sea that is threatening you is the same one He is walking on! To get safely to your destination, invite Jesus to travel with you, get into your boat, and calm the storm. Pray this way: Father God, I recognize that I have tried to row alone and I can not move forward. That’s why I invite You to enter my life, calm the storm and take me safe to port. I ask You in the Name of Jesus, Amen! Have a blessed day!
