2 Kings 2:19-21 (NLT)
One day the leaders of the town of Jericho visited Elisha. “We have a problem, my lord,” they told him. “This town is located in pleasant surroundings, as you can see. But the water is bad, and the land is unproductive.” Elisha said, “Bring me a new bowl with salt in it.” So they brought it to him. Then he went out to the spring that supplied the town with water and threw the salt into it. And he said, “This is what the Lord says: I have purified this water. It will no longer cause death or infertility.”

Jericho was situated in a good location, however the land was barren and under a curse. The problem was a spiritual one, not a physical one, so the inhabitants sought the help of God. The same can happen in a city or a country today, just as it did in Jericho. It can also happen in a person or family. But it is God’s will to remove the curse and to bless you. If you are in trouble, seek God now to end the barrenness. Pray this way: Father God, I don’t believe that I am bearing fruit or prospering the way I should. That’s why I ask You to purify me and make me productive. In the name of Jesus, Amen! Have a blessed day!
