Sin, Potholes And Flat Tires

Sin, Potholes And Flat Tires

Proverbs 13:19 (NLT)

It is pleasant to see dreams come true, but fools refuse to turn from evil to attain them.

God has put His dreams and projects in your heart (see Ephesians 2:10), and desires to work in you through the power of His Spirit so that you can accomplish them (see Philippians 2:13).

However, sin is a diabolical force that keeps you from achieving them. Like a lead ball, it eats up valuable energy. Like a wall, it separates you from God’s blessing. It fills your path with pot holes to flatten your tires and detours to slow you down. It steals your joy, turns off your light and blurs your vision.

Therefore, make the choice to turn away from evil and run to God. He will make those dreams come alive again and His Spirit will help you make them come true!

You may want to pray something like this: Father God, I realize that my sins have taken away my strength to achieve my dreams. I repent of my evil deeds. Forgive me and help me achieve every dream and project that You put in my heart to do. I ask this in Jesus’ Name, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
