John 16:22-24 (NLT)
So you have sorrow now, but I will see you again; then you will rejoice, and no one can rob you of that joy. At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name. You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.

Jesus, in saying goodbye to his disciples, gives them some secrets about how they were to seek and find the answer for all their needs when He was gone––secrets that you can apply these days in your own life:
1) Be humble enough to ask God, and not rely solely on your strength and wisdom.
2) Ask in the Name of Jesus exclusively, renouncing any other way to reach the Father.
When you follow these instructions, you activate the promise, “Everything you ask for in my Name you will receive.”
Pray like this: Father God, I receive Your Word believing that You will answer me when I ask You in the Name of Jesus. So now I start this day seeking You and humbly asking for Your aid. I put my life in your hands. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
