John 11:37-40 (NLT)
But some said, “This man healed a blind man. Couldn’t he have kept Lazarus from dying?” Jesus was still angry as he arrived at the tomb, a cave with a stone rolled across its entrance. “Roll the stone aside,” Jesus told them. But Martha, the dead man’s sister, protested, “Lord, he has been dead for four days. The smell will be terrible.” Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”

By nature, the human mind reasons: “He died four days ago!” “He gave sight to a blind man but was unable to heal his friend!”
But faith works differently. “Remove the stone that prevents the miracle and entombs life.”
It has been a month, now, since you have not had a paycheck. Resources are running out, doors of opportunity in the workplace remain closed, and the prognosis is for more of the same. You are buried, and your mind is rolling a great stone over the mouth of your own tomb, trying to convince you that not even God can get you out. Roll that stone away now and let the Word of God enter! The Lord says to you, “Have I not told you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
Pray like this: Father God, thank You for Your Word today. I receive it and I believe it. By Your power, right now, I remove every stone my mind has rolled across the door my heart to entomb me, and I receive by faith the miracle of life that You have in store for me. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
