Matthew 18:12-14 (NLT)
“If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he will rejoice over it more than over the ninety-nine that didn’t wander away! In the same way, it is not my heavenly Father’s will that even one of these little ones should perish.

The Lord does stand around with His arms crossed looking from a distance at those who have lost their way, who are trapped in their sins and addictions, who cannot find their way back home, who believe they are so unworthy that being called children of God is not even a remote possibility.
If you are feeling this way, you have to know that Jesus is looking for you. He came to seek and save everything and everyone that was lost! Hear His voice calling out your name. Run to meet Him! He will be overjoyed to find you.
You may want to pray something like this: Lord, I acknowledge that I have strayed from Your side, from the fold and even from the flock, and gotten lost in my own ways. I hear Your voice calling out to me, and I come running to ask Your forgiveness today. I welcome Your presence in my life. I feel You lifting me up in Your arms right now. I am overwhelmed by the joy You are showering on me. Thank You, Lord Jesus. In Your Name, Amen!
