2 Corinthians 9:6-8 (NLT)
Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.

We all have seeds to sow—a gift, a talent, love, goods—that if used properly serve to help others. Trees do not bear fruit for themselves, nor does the sun shine only for them. So it is with everything God has created.
The earthly mindset reasons, “If I give, I will have less.” But in the heavenly mindset, giving is like sowing seed that produces a harvest. Start giving to others today. God will give you the reward in due time.
Pray this way: Father God, I have waited for a long time to reap a harvest without having sown any seed. But today I want to start sowing good works—helping others, giving them love and blessing—believing that I will reap abundantly in due time to be able to do even more. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
