Refuge

Refuge

Psalm 46:1-2 (NLT)

God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea.

Nothing can be done to stop a tsunami, an earthquake, or a raging forest fire. Nor can anything be done to stop the pain and destruction when the tempestuous storms of unpayable debts, incurable diseases, lack of work or a broken marriage come crashing over a life or a family.

King David wrote this psalm. He had gone through these kinds of problems and could validate by experience that the only refuge available is God. He is the One that gives you protection and strength in the midst of the storm. He is the only one who can help you overcome these “earthquakes.”

Pray this way: Lord, I believe and declare today that You are my refuge and strength. I move forward in the assurance that You will help me overcome every problem I am facing. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
