2 Corinthians 5:18-20 (NLT)
And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”

If you have believed in Jesus, your sins were forgiven you and God brought you back to Himself. You were reconciled with God. The broken relationship you had with Him has been repaired and reconciliation is now a part of who you are––a “wonderful message.”
Because of that, you have a marvelous assignment from God. More than a task or a ministry, it is a privilege and joy––to be God’s ambassador on Earth to help others to also reconcile with God.
You can use this devotional to “speak on Christ’s behalf” to your friends and contacts to help them know the Lord and have the opportunity to receive His forgiveness and His blessings for their lives. Yes, reconciliation is an inexhaustible gift; the more you give it way, the more you find.
You may want to pray something like this: Father God, thank You for giving me the privilege of being Your ambassador. Help me minister the reconciliation I have received from You to my family, friends, neighbors, colleagues so that they may also be reconciled with You and with each other. I ask it In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
