1 Peter 1:6-7 (NLT)
So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

Life is like an obstacle course to be conquered in order reach the plans God has for you.
To run well, you will need to make two strategic decisions at the outset. First, remove all the weight that sin produces that prevents you from getting a good start and later on slows you down during the difficult, grueling portions of the race.
Second, you will need to keep your gaze on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of the faith. That will keep you from becoming confused by the obstacles and will take you to the right finish line.
Jesus said “…you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world” (see John 16:33).
Pray like this: Father God, I ask forgiveness for my sins. I cast off this weight that prevents me from running with endurance. I look beyond the obstacles before me to fix my gaze on Jesus, believing that in His strength I will overcome every difficulty until I reach His finish line for me. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
