Proverbs 3:11-12 (NLT)
My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you. For the Lord corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.

When you are going through unpleasant and painful situations, which could even be consequences of your own mistakes, do not think that God is pleased about making you suffer. Rather He corrects you to get the best out of you, as every good father does with his children. It’s a sign of how much He delights in you! Accept and receive it, with thanksgiving.
You may want to pray something like this: Father God, I thank You for sending correction my way in order to make me the better person You have designed. I ask Your forgiveness for my shortcomings, and I submit to Your correction because I know it will change my life. I pray all of this in Jesus’ Name, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
