Knee Jerk Reaction

Knee Jerk Reaction

Psalm 73:21-24  (NLT)

Then I realized that my heart was bitter, and I was all torn up inside. I was so foolish and ignorant— I must have seemed like a senseless animal to you. Yet I still belong to you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.

When bitterness, resentment and pain fill your heart due to injustices, betrayals and rejection you have suffered, feelings of revenge emerge that make you look like a beast.

You will be better off turning your case over to the Lord and leaving the problem in His hands. Then you can be free to be guided, advised and healed by Him, so that He can lead you to your own glorious destiny.

You may want to pray something like this: Father God, forgive me for letting resentment and bitterness come into my life. I strip myself of all that evil, and I put myself in Your hands today so that you will comfort, heal, bless and guide me. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
