Proverbs 19:17 (NLT) If you help the poor, you are lending to the Lord—and he will repay you!

There are people who are “poor” in affection, who are alone and sick. They need your company. If you give to receive a compensation, it is just a business transaction. But if you give help to the one who has no means of repaying you, you are making a deposit in the bank of heaven that pays the best interest.
You may want to pray something like this: Father God, I want to apply this spiritual principle, giving without expecting anything in return, in gratitude for everything You give me, knowing that my reward comes from heaven. Empower me, I pray, in the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
