Acts 1:9-11 (NLT)
After saying this, he was taken up into a cloud while they were watching, and they could no longer see him. As they strained to see him rising into heaven, two white-robed men suddenly stood among them. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why are you standing here staring into heaven? Jesus has been taken from you into heaven, but someday he will return from heaven in the same way you saw him go!”

After giving irrefutable evidence of his resurrection, Jesus visibly ascended to Heaven, but not with the announcement being given again that that He would return for all those who believed in Him, to live with Him for all eternity. Are you ready for his coming?
You may want to pray something like this: Lord Jesus, I want to be prepared for the glorious day when You come back and we get the meet face to face. I believe in my heart that You gave Your life for me, I give myself into Your hands and I receive the eternal life that you have promised. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
