Luke 17:1-4 (NLT)
One day Jesus said to his disciples, “There will always be temptations to sin, but what sorrow awaits the person who does the tempting! It would be better to be thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around your neck than to cause one of these little ones to fall into sin. So watch yourselves! If another believer sins, rebuke that person; then if there is repentance, forgive. Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, you must forgive.”

There are two great pieces of truth for life in this passage. First, temptation is all around; yielding to it makes you a tempter. Becoming a source of temptation will make you a stumbling block to others, and will bring condemnation to your own life. Instead, be an example in your home, among your colleagues, friends, neighbors. Second, if others sin against you and ask for your forgiveness, accept the apology even if it happens over and over again. Do not hold grudges and resentment, because you will only ruin your own life. Living by these standards will turn millstones into milestones and pave the way for you to live in permanent peace and blessing. Pray with an audible voice: Lord, thank You for Your Word. I recognize that I have sinned and caused others to do the same. Forgive me! And because You forgive me, I also forgive those who have done me wrong. In the name of Jesus, Amen! Have a blessed Day!
