Mid-course Corrections

Mid-course Corrections

Deuteronomy 8:4-5 (NLT)

For all these forty years your clothes didn’t wear out, and your feet didn’t blister or swell. Think about it: Just as a parent disciplines a child, the Lord your God disciplines you for your own good.

After Moses led Israel out of slavery, the people rebelled and spent 40 years wandering around in a desert, where God also cared for them until finally, a new obedient generation entered the land that God had promised them.

The Lord may need to correct you, teach you, instruct you, do some mid-course corrections––not so that you suffer, but so that you receive all the blessings He has prepared for you: protection, healing of your illnesses, supernatural provision of needed resources, peace in your inner man and wholesomeness in your family.

Leave your desert behind. Start a new stage in your life, obeying the Lord.

You may want to pray something like this: Father God, I come to ask forgiveness for my rebellious attitudes and actions today. I want to obey You and trust You in everything. I put my life and family in Your care. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
