Isaiah 9:2-3 (NLT)
The people who walk in darkness will see a great light.
For those who live in a land of deep darkness, a light will shine…They will rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest and like warriors dividing the plunder.

These words about the coming of the Lord Jesus were written by the prophet some 700 years before His entry into this world, promising that a light would shine for those that were living in a land of deep darkness.
Another two thousand years have passed since the birth of Jesus and to this day, His Light has without fail dispelled every pocket of darkness it has ever been invited into encountered.
Today, more than ever, we need His Light to shine among us, so that our nation prospers and there is true joy in all its people.
Begin the process by inviting this Light to enter your life, so He can light your path and cause His salvation to be fully manifested in you. Don’t let this Christmas be just another holiday celebration, but rather let Jesus be born in your heart!
You may want to pray something like this: Father God, thank You for the gift of the Lord Jesus. Lord Jesus, I now invite into my life and I ask that You be the Light that removes my darkness and lights my path from this day forward. This Christmas, I celebrate You in me and I ask that You come to our nation so that it can prosper and be filled with Your joy. In Your name I pray, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
